Sony makes some of the best ANC headphones on the market and one of its best pairs ever, the WH-1000XM4 headphones, are now down to $248. The original price for these headphones is about $348 so you save $100 with the current sale that Amazon is offering right now.
That’s a discount of 28% which is pretty good for these headphones. Now, while there are certainly lots of headphones out there, not to mention lots of headphones with active noise cancellation, there aren’t many that will surpass the Sony WH-1000XM4, save for maybe Sony’s WH-1000XM5 headphones. The active noise cancellation is one of the main features of this pair of headphones but there are several other features that make these a really awesome pair to own.
One of our favorites is the Quick Attention mode. To activate this, all you have to do is place your hand over the right ear and hold it there. This will turn on Quick Attention mode which pauses your music and turns on the transparency mode so you can hear through the headphones without having to take them off. This is great if you need to speak to someone just for a minute.
These also have pretty good battery life. On a single charge, they should last you for up to 30 hours. These support Quick Charge as well. So, once you drain the battery, 10 minutes on the charger will get you 5 hours of listening time. Another really cool feature is that these will pause music playback if you take them off. Say you need to have an extended conversation with someone but you don’t want to miss your music, for example.
