AH Real Deal: The Ring Battery Doorbell is back to $60

Earlier this year Amazon announced the all-new Ring Battery Doorbell, a smart doorbell with video capabilities that doesn’t need to be plugged in, and it’s now back down to its lowest price ever as part of this deal.

The regular retail price for it $99.99, but Amazon currently has it on sale for $59.99. That’s $40 off and the lowest price that we’ve ever seen for this device. It’s also the same low price that Amazon has listed for Prime Day, and this is a limited time deal. So it likely won’t lat long.

Ring Battery Doorbell Amazon Price History

Obviously, the beauty of this model of the Ring Doorbell is that it runs on battery power. It has a built-in battery and when it needs more juice, you simply plug the doorbell in using the USB-C port. It’s pretty simple as all you have to do is detach the doorbell and let it charge back up. Then you can re-attach it and you’re good to go. It can also be installed as a hardwired unit if you wish, completely eliminating the need to recharge it. So you have options which is great.

Like other Ring Video Doorbell models it has head-to-toe color and night vision, as well as motion detection. And when the doorbell detects someone at your front door it’ll send you an alert to your phone so you can see who it is. Here’s one of the best part about this doorbell. It has two-way talk. Say you have a package that was dropped off and you notice someone is coming up to take it, you can enable the two-way talk and let them know they’re on camera, which could be a potential deterrent for thieves.
