AKQA Names Four Global Chiefs Following Reorg


AKQA has appointed four executives to its global leadership team, the agency shared exclusively with ADWEEK.

Miriam Plon Sauer rejoins AKQA as global chief strategy officer after a brief stint at McCann Worldgroup. Benjamin Royce joins from Google Cloud as the agency’s chief technology officer. In addition, longtime AKQA creative Tim Devine has been elevated to chief invention officer, and Jonathan Bolden has been promoted to chief transformation officer.

All four join AKQA’s global executive committee.

With these new roles, clients can expect a more unified approach to strategy, tech, and delivery from the agency—regardless of where the work is executed, Stephan Pretorius, WPP’s chief technology officer and interim chair of AKQA, told ADWEEK.
