Alienware is launching several new gaming monitors, one as low as $249

Alienware has just announced a suite of new gaming monitors coming this year, and it might surprise you to find out that one of those is a budget option planned to be released at just $249. Alienware isn’t typically the brand you think of when you look at gaming monitors set at budget pricing. However, the company confirmed during a press briefing back at the end of February that it was targeting a new price point for its monitors.

The company also has a monitor planned to come to market set at $269. Both new monitors are using fast IPS panels and are on the smaller end at 25 inches and 27 inches. The 25-inch AW2525HM monitor only features a 1080p resolution, but it has a 320Hz refresh rate. That should easily cement it as a favorable option for people who want to save money without compromising on speed. The 27-inch AW2725DM monitor ups the resolution to 1440p but dumps the refresh rate down to 180Hz. So, there’s a bit of compromise on both ends.

In addition to these two monitors, Alienware is also releasing new QD-OLED options. These, too, are set at lower prices than their predecessors. So all around, Alienware is looking to make its entire monitor lineup more affordable. In doing so, they should be an option for a larger number of consumers.

Alienware plans to launch both budget gaming monitors by this Summer

If you’re planning to upgrade to a new monitor soon, or if you want to wait a few months, Alienware seems to have you covered. Alienware plans to launch its two new budget gaming monitors by this Summer. The larger AW2725DM is launching this week, while the AW2525HM is planned to launch sometime this Summer. It is worth noting that Alienware’s planned prices may change.

While the company has targeted these price points, it says the cost could increase as it can’t promise it will be able to stick with these prices. However, even if the prices do increase, we can’t imagine there would be massive increases. In that case, both should still end up relatively affordable.

The company has two more monitors coming at $549 and $799

Keeping with the theme of more affordable pricing, Alienware is also targeting a $549 price point for one of its newest QD-OLED monitors. Sporting a 27-inch panel, it also offers a QHD resolution and a 280Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it has 110 ppi.

Alienware hasn’t forgotten about those who like larger monitors, either. Another monitor in its 2025 lineup is the $799 AW3425DW. It has a 240Hz refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 support, and a USB-C charging port that can charge at 15W in case you need to juice up one of your smaller devices. It also features 4K resolution and a considerably smaller base, which will take up less room on your desk.

It’s also “exclusively launching” in a new ‘Interstellar Indigo’ color. These new monitors join another that the company showed off at CES earlier this year alongside new laptops and desktops.
