The Amazfit Active 2 is now official, the company’s new smartwatch. This smartwatch is made for fitness and healthy living, says the company, but can serve you as a regular watch too. It’s a very versatile product.

This is yet another novelty from CES 2025 in Las Vegas. If you check out the images below the article, you’ll see the watch itself. It has a round fact, while its frame is made out of stainless steel.
It has two buttons on the right-hand side, but neither of those spins around. So you’re not getting a rotating crown here. There are no buttons on the left side. The watch does look quite elegant, however.
There is a 1.32-inch AMOLED display included on the front. It can provide a brightness of 2,000 nits. There are actually two versions of the watch that you can get. A ‘standard version’ comes with a silicone band, and costs $99.99. The ‘premium version’ costs $129.99, and comes with a genuine leather strap and a sapphire glass screen.
Amazfit included a BioTracker 6.0 PPG biosensor inside of this watch. It comes with a dual-LED and 4PD build, which should provide considerably better biometric signal pickups, and enhanced precision too.
Sleep algorithms have been upgraded too
Heart rate and sleep algorithms have been upgraded as well. The PulsePrecision algorithm enhances heart rate tracking to the level of the Amazfit T-Rex 3. RestoreIQ algorithm, on the other hand, gives sleep tracking a major boost.
Amazfit also says that you can get 10 days’ worth of battery life with this watch, under “typical use”. That is much better than most of the competitors offer.
The company also included over 160 spots mode here, including HYROX Race Mode. Offline maps with turn directions are also a part of the package and are supported by 5 satellite systems.
Zepp Coach Integration is on board too, as are Advanced Health Insights. The watch can provide you with a daily Readiness score, which summarizes mental and physical recovery and provides actionable insights.

The Amazfit Active 2 is now available to pre-order in the US from amazfit.us starting at $99.99. It will become available globally next month via Amazfit’s website, and through retail partners.
