This model debuted at $449 before seeing an official permanent price drop back in May to $349. Today’s deal is $199 off the original price and $99 under the current sticker price. You will find this same deal live over at Costco for members of the warehouse retailer. As of right now, neither storefront is shipping this deal in time for Christmas, but you might be able to land one at your local Costco brick and mortar location if you’re a member – just be sure to call ahead.
Your best bet for landing what is by far the most affordable current-generation iPad under the tree is to take the $20 hit and score one at Best Buy while they are down at $279 shipped. This is still a solid $70 in savings and among the lowest we have tracked. At the time of writing, loads of brick and mortar Best Buy locations have it in stock and you can “Get it by Tomorrow” if you opt for delivery in most regions across the country.
There’s no denying that the iPad 10th Generation is the least powerful and oldest model in the current lineup, but if you’re just looking for a sweet Apple gift that won’t totally break the bank this year, be it for the kids or just as a causal Apple tablet experience for folks who don’t care about Apple Intelligence features, there’s no denying the value here at $250 (or $279 for that matter)
