Anker Introduces 4K Wireless Projector With Liquid Cooling

Almost every month this year, another projector has entered the market. They don’t look, act, or even feel like the projectors we grew up with because brands are daring to reimagine what they can be. The Nebula X1 is among the proof of this shift, and calling it merely a projector is an injustice. The X1 carries its wireless speakers and microphones, surround sound, spatial adaptation, a clean wireless setup, and more. It’s still days away from an official launch. But the preview will have you in awe already.

You may know Anker for its reliable phone chargers and power banks, but the company has quietly built a reputation beyond keeping your battery full. The company owns several sub-brands, including Soundcore for audio, Eufy for smart home tech, and Nebula for projectors.

And it makes perfect sense. Anker already leads in portable power, battery efficiency, and wireless tech. These are all core ingredients for a great portable projector, which we’ll soon see in the latest Nebula X1 projector when it arrives.

The device has a compact design with slightly rounded edges and a matte dark gray finish, much like their Cosmos Laser and Mars models. A large lens sits in front, with the depth sensor beside it. There’s a handle built into the top. Inside the box, you get the Nebula X1 projector itself, a stylish carry bag, two wireless satellite speakers, four built-in 15W and 5W tweeters, and two wireless microphones.

The projector clearly offers a cinematic experience while also offering a complete portable karaoke system. It comes with 3,500 ANSI Lumens of brightness and 4K resolution on up to a 300-inch display. That is, if you use Google TV, which is where much of your entertainment is supposed to come from anyway.

The Nebula X1 is what many projectors wish to be

Among the most immense appreciations of the 14-element glass lens is that most projectors in this space still use cheaper plastic lenses or basic glass setups. You probably can’t tell, but 14 separate glass elements layered precisely inside the lens allow it to control how light passes with far more accuracy. The 4K content looks like 4K instead of a blurry upscale.

The X1 also happens to have the first liquid cooling system in a projector. This powerful feature boosts heat dissipation by 15%. More importantly, it reduces operating noise to just 26 dB, quieter than your average library.

The battery life is impressive: The wireless microphones can run for up to 40 hours on a full charge, and even 10 minutes of charging can provide up to three hours of use. The speakers, on the other hand, can provide up to eight hours of use. These are just a few of the many features you’ll love on the projector.

The Nebula X1 will launch on May 21st this year and be available for purchase directly from the official website. The base unit, which includes only the projector itself, costs £2,199.99 ($2,999). The two wireless satellite speakers, wireless microphones, and carry case are available as an optional accessory pack for £499.99 ($999).

If you plan to buy both at once, a limited-time bundle deal runs from May 21st to June 15th. During that window, you can get the projector and accessory pack together for £2,349.99 ($3,298).
