While it may save you some money, and could possibly be better for the environment as whole, 2025 isn’t the greatest time to be driving an electric vehicle in Idaho.
Just recently, thousands of Teslas were recalled across the country, including many sold here in Idaho, and drivers were not happy at all. Unfortunately, if you decided to purchase an electric vehicle from another automotive manufacturer as of late, you may lose that spark here in just a moment.
What’s this recall all about?
Yesterday (March 13th, 2025), Mercedes-Benz announced they’re recalling over 7,300 electric vehicles sold between 2021 and 2025, due to a risk of injury or property damage.
Was my vehicle recalled?
Possibly, the list is pretty long. All of the following vehicles are being recalled:
-
- 2025 Mercedes Benz EQB 250+
- 2022 – 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 250
- 2022 – 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 300
- 2022 – 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 300 4MATIC
- 2022 – 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 350
- 2022 – 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 350 4MATIC
Crap. What do I do if my vehicle is on that list?
If your plug-in electric vehicle is indeed listed above, Mercedes owners are being encouraged to see their local dealership, where a battery update will be conducted free of charge.
