Apple has increased the price of its AppleCare+ coverage for iPhone in the US. The price hike applies to both the standard plan and the AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss plan, with each seeing a $0.50 per month increase.
The price increase only affects monthly AppleCare+ subscribers, while the two-year AppleCare+ subscription remains unchanged. Additionally, service fees and excess fees for accidental damage, battery service, or device replacement have not been adjusted.
AppleCare+ for iPhone is an extended warranty and support plan that provides coverage beyond Apple’s standard one-year limited warranty. Depending on the plan, it includes up to two or unlimited incidents of accidental damage protection per year, subject to a service fee. The plan also offers battery service coverage and priority access to Apple Support.
Customers looking for additional protection can opt for AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss, which includes coverage for lost or stolen iPhones. However, to qualify for a replacement, Find My iPhone must be enabled at the time of the incident.
