It shared the news on its social media pages with a short video that highlighted some of its popular shows. The video displays a tagline, too: “See for yourself.”
There’s a little bit of confusion. Apple’s press release says the offer will start on January 3, but its video and tweet say January 4. It is currently unclear which one is correct or whether this was simply a mistake in the press release, as the company did refer to the “first weekend of 2025.”
It does not matter if you’re a new user or have been a subscriber in the past; you’ll be able to stream everything Apple TV+ has to offer, which includes original TV shows, movies, and documentaries.
Apple device users, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac, must download the Apple TV app (home of Apple TV+) and then sign in with an Apple ID to watch for free on Apple TV+ during its 2-day event.
