Apple warns IPhone users to delete this important app immediately – WEAR-TV

Apple has issued a new warning that could significantly impact iPhone users, urging them to reconsider their use of Google Chrome due to digital privacy concerns.

In a recent video posted on its YouTube channel, Apple did not explicitly name Google Chrome but implied that users should consider removing the browser. This comes in response to Google’s announcement on Tuesday that it would not be removing third-party tracking cookies from its Chrome browser.

Cookies enable websites and advertisers to track online activity and personalize ads, a practice that contributes significantly to Google’s revenue. According to company earnings statements, Google’s advertising revenue reached approximately $265 billion in 2024.

Apple has seized the opportunity to promote its own internet browser, Safari, which it claims offers a more private browsing experience.
