Amazon is now offering some of its best prices ever on the new AirPods 4. You’ll find the standard base model AirPods 4 down at $99.99 shipped and the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation on sale for $149.99 shipped. While the ANC set did drop down to $139 once at Amazon just before Christmas, today’s deal is the lowest we have tracked there otherwise and the base model is now at a new Amazon all-time low for the best price we can find.
The standard set carries a regular price at $129 and the ANC variant at $179. Today’s deals are up to 22% off and among the lowest totals we have tracked anywhere since release last September. Outside of a few fleeting offers and some YMMV deals, as well as the fact that Amazon has been offering AirPods 4 at $119 and $169, respectively, for months, prices any better than that have been relatively hard to come by on Apple’s latest.
While the more pricey AirPods Pro 2 remained the most popular Apple buds in 2024 among 9to5Toys readers (as detailed in our 9to5Toys’ Favorite Things of 2024 feature) despite the release of the AirPods 4, that might very well be, at least to some degree, due to the relatively rare discounted pricing on the newer set.
AirPods 4 debuted alongside iPhone 16 and have largely held firm at just below the MSRP. You’ll find a redesigned shape and fit Apple says provides “all-day comfort” with a “refined contour, shorter stem, and quick-press controls for music or calls.” They also come with a redesigned charging case Apple says is the “smallest in the industry with wireless charging” as well as much of the latest features we have seen come to the Pro 2 set: Siri hands- and voice-free interactions, Voice Isolation, and Personalized Spatial Audio tech with dynamic head tracking.
