However, this year, it’s back and will give you a chance to catch all the games of the 30th MLS season. That’s not a bad perk in any way.
T-Mobile Is Giving Some Plans the Chance to Enjoy the 2025 MLS Season for Free
The MLS was by no means a small league, but it wasn’t close to being one of the most-watched in the world. However, with Lionel Messi, arguably the best active football player in the world, moving to join Inter Miami in 2023, there was certainly a lot more interest in the league from those who previously preferred to watch La Liga, Ligue 1, and the English Premier League.
The MLS 2025 season’s commencement is imminent, and T-Mobile has decided to promote the domestic league with a pretty neat perk. If you’re on a qualifying plan, you’re going to be offered an MLS Season Pass, which will give you the chance to watch the season for free via Apple TV’s app or website. That includes regular season matches, MLS cup playoff matches, Leagues cup, and more.
That’s not a small thing to have thrown in as a bonus, especially when you consider that the Season Pass typically costs $99 yearly. Keep in mind that it isn’t available yet, and the perk will be available to be claimed starting on February 18th through the T Life app. From then on, you’ll have until March 4th before the offer expires. If you’re a big MLS fan, make sure to add that to your calendar.
Which T-Mobile Plans Qualify for This Offer?
Understandably, T-Mobile isn’t offering this to every single plan it has in its portfolio, but it is offering it to a very wide selection.
If you’re on any of the carrier’s postpaid plans, such as any of the Go5G plans or Essentials, then you’re good to go. The benevolence also extends to Metro by T-Mobile subscribers and business accounts. If you fall into any of those categories, you should see the perk show up in the T-Mobile Tuesdays section of the T Life app once the window opens.
T-Mobile Offered the MLS Season Pass Before But Skipped Last Year
For MLS fans who have been on T-Mobile for some time, they might know that this type of deal is hardly a novel thing for the company. Back in 2023, the company offered a free MLS season pass for its subscribers. For those who love the sport, it was as sweet as perks could get.
However, in 2024, the company skipped the deal entirely, which must have been heartbreaking to those who hoped it’d become a recurring thing. However, 2025 is clearly going to be different, as the carrier has brought the deal back into the fray. Maybe from this point on, we can expect to see it show up on a yearly basis.
