AT&T introduces SplitPay to help you easily split your phone bills

AT&T, one of the major smartphone carriers in the US, has introduced a new program called SplitPay, which allows you to easily split your phone bill payments with your friends and family members. With the new program, AT&T is making it incredibly easy for users with multiple lines on a single postpaid plan to split bills with others and make payments on time.

AT&T’s new SplitPay feature automatically notifies designated users to make payments for their phone bills

According to a recent blog post, AT&T’s new SplitPay feature is a “revolutionary way to manage your cell phone bills that will change the game.” You can now reduce your worries about paying bill collectors for your family and friends who share your cell phone plan, adds the blog post. The company said that SplitPay is “convenient and user-friendly, and people can even use it if they enroll in AutoPay.”

AT&T’s new SplitPay program allows account owners to easily track payments and automatically notify designated users of the plan to pay their phone bills. It also sends alerts to the main user when someone hasn’t paid their share before the due date of the bill. AT&T says paying bill collectors for your group of friends or family members can be a bit of a hassle. However, the SplitPay feature aims to solve this problem by automating the process of paying bills in a group plan.

Here’s how to set up, manage, and use SplitPay

If you want to enroll for the new AT&T service to split payments, go to its website and sign in to your account. Now, select the “primary payer” who will make sure to pay the whole bill on time each month. Then, choose the wireless lines you also want to be payers and select “Assign lines/devices” to choose additional devices for a particular payer, creating a group. Finally, select the “Continue” option and follow the next prompts to finish the process.

It’s worth mentioning that the main account holder of a plan still needs to pay the total bill on time. If it’s not, the telco will charge them a late payment fee on their bill, and they may face a suspension of the wireless service on their account.
