Beatbot just announced the World's First 5-in-1 Robotic Pool Cleaner at CES 2025

At CES, we normally see loads of robots that do some pretty incredible things. And Beatbot is part of that, this year, announcing the AquaSense 2 Ultra. But the difference here is, Beatbot actually ships their robots.

The Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra is a robotic pool cleaner that is able to deliver professional-grade pool cleaning by combining cutting-edge HybridSense AI Pool Mapping with unmatched 5-in-1 cleaning capabilities. It is engineered for pool owners who want the very best out of their pool cleaners and features a multi-sensor fusion of AI cameras, ultrasonic and infrared sensors. This technology is able to adapt intelligently to your pool’s unique layout, delivering spotless cleaning from the water surface to the waterline, walls and floor.

Traditional pool robots will operate blindly, which makes them struggle to clean irregular pool shapes and often times missing spots. They’ll also get stuck and lack debris detection. That leads to more human intervention, making it a little less useful to have a robot cleaning the pool. With the AquaSense 2 Ultra, that is all addressed with intelligent navigation, precise mapping, and advanced debris detection. This ensures a thorough and efficient cleaning.

This pool cleaner is powered by a high-performance 4-core Cortex-A7 1.8GHz CPU and 27 sensors. This includes an AI Camera sensor, Ultrasonic sensors, Infrared sensors, and water pressure sensors.

AquaSense 2 Ultra can intelligently detect and pick up debris

Another pain point that Beatbot set out to address with the AquaSense 2 Ultra is the fact that traditional robotic cleaners will operate blindly and often leave debris behind. Thanks to all of the sensors mentioned above, the pool cleaner is able to scan and identify debris. This intelligent, AI-driven system is able to target debris that may have been missed during the initial cleaning, ensuring a more thorough pool cleaning experience, and less intervention from humans. It is also continuously learning and getting better at identifying and picking up debris.

The AquaSense 2 Ultra will initially complete a full-floor cleaning, then it will perform a debris scene. If any debris is detected, the robot will adjust its cleaning path to capture them, making sure you have a spotless pool. The AI camera sensor is able to capture images of debris and then uses AI visual recognition to identify the type of debris in the images. The algorithms in use here, have been trained to recognize the most common types of leaves found in pools and it is constantly improving.

The AquaSense 2 Ultra is available to pre-order on Beatbot’s official website and on Amazon, starting January 24, 2025. It’ll cost $3,450.
