Best Buy has dropped a colossal deal for one day only, perhaps even marking the start of the Black Friday sale period. As part of Best Buy’s deal of the day, Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) is down to just $169.99, a massive reduction versus its original $249.99 list price. it’s also $10 less than Amazon has the premium earbuds listed for right now, and the best price we’ve seen since the Prime Day sales in July.

Deal expires at 11:59 PM PT, November 11.
AirPods Pro is widely regarded as the best truly wireless earbuds for iPhone users, delivering top-notch sound quality thanks to their in-ear design, low-distortion drivers, and Apple’s H2 chip.
These earbuds also offer active noise cancellation—one of only two AirPods models to do so—along with thoughtful features like Adaptive Transparency Mode, which allows ambient sound in without removing the earbuds, and Conversation Mode, which automatically enhances voices during conversations.
In the second generation, Apple has updated the AirPods Pro with a USB Type-C port for more universal compatibility and included a MagSafe charging case as a standard feature, eliminating the need for multiple charging cables.
When Is Black Friday 2024?
The actual date of Black Friday in 2024 falls on November 29 this year, but the deals season will begin a lot sooner than that. Leading up to the big event, retailers will begin to open deals online. This usually starts in the last week of October, just before Halloween. Each week leading up to the event will slowly roll out more deals, which ultimately leads to Black Friday. Retailers will not reveal their biggest Black Friday deals until the big day, but most general deals will be available well in advance. Walmart, for example, has announced its official sale for November 11 this year.
