Transform your bicycle into an e-bike with the LIVALL PikaBoost 2.
LIVALL brought forth one of the more interesting gadgets we’ve spotted at CES 2025. The gadget in question is the LIVALL PikaBoost 2, and it’s on the receiving end of one of our CES 2025 awards. What is PikaBoost 2 exactly? Well, it’s a gadget that transforms your regular bicycle into an electric one. It’s not the first device to do something like that, but it provides you with one of the easiest ways to do the deed.
The LIVALL PikaBoost 2 is an all-in-one product presented at CES 2025
This is an all-in-one product. Everything you need is placed inside the PikaBoost 2, and all you need to do is place it on your bike. As you can see in the provided image, it needs to be mounted on the back of your bicycle, behind the seat. This gadget integrates a motor, battery, control system, LED taillights, and a fall detection & SOS alert system. In other words, everything is included here.
Setting up the PikaBoost 2 on your bicycle is fairly easy, and chances are you won’t even need any help with it. It fits wheel sizes from 14 to 29 inches and supports tire widths of 25-65mm. So, the PikaBoost 2 is basically compatible with mountain, road, and hybrid bikes, which makes it widely compatible. There are also four riding modes that you get to choose from here. Once you set it up and get going, you can choose between Power Assist, Eco Assist, Cruise, and Workout modes.
LIVALL is using its own AAR 2.0 technology here
At the core of the LIVALL PikaBoost 2 experience is the AAR 2.0 technology by the company. It will basically offer you a personalized e-bike assistant with amplified pedal power and effortless hill climbing. LIVALL also included the regenerative braking system which captures kinetic energy during coasting or workout mode. By doing that it generates 100 watts of electricity at 25 km/k (15 mph). That should extend the battery life of the product, basically.
The 158Wh battery that is included on the inside provides up to 70km (43 mi) of range, and you can fully charge it in 3 hours. To top it all off, LIVALL engineered PikaBoost 2 with 99.99% pure copper windings and the company’s proprietary magnetic core. There’s plenty of tech packed into this compact product.
