Three California residents claiming several companies unlawfully overcharged them for auto insurance were denied class certification after a federal judge said they lacked standing for injunctive relief.
The Californians failed to show that a group of insurance companies—including National General Insurance Co. and Integon Preferred Insurance Co.—were liable for each other’s alleged failure to offer good drivers discounted rates.
