One common question among flip phone users is whether it’s possible to take a screenshot of the cover screen.
The short answer is “yes”, and if you own the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, Nubia Flip 5G or any other flip-style Android phone, here’s a guide on how to do it.

How to take a screenshot on a flip phone
All you have to do to take a screenshot of a flip phone’s cover screen is to simultaneously press and hold down the power button and volume-down button when the cover display is turned on. In other words, the same method you’d usually use to take a screenshot on Android.
However, be aware that the orientation of the volume buttons changes depending on whether the phone is folded open or closed. When the phone is folded (closed), the volume-up button becomes a volume-down button and vice versa.
If you do it correctly, the screen will flash white, notifying you that the screenshot has been taken and stored. Then you can just open the phone, dive into your gallery app and access it there.
