Cars & Coffee Event At Branfords Coppola Customs Honors Madison Man – Patch

BRANFORD, CT — The owners of Branford Coppola Customs, who describe themselves as “close friends” of Mark Palumbo Jr., the Madison man who died in a wrong-way crash, and his family, are hosting a community ‘Cars & Coffee’ event Oct. 27, “in honor and remembrance of Mark,” according to Abby and Tom Coppola.

“He had a great passion for cars. He owned MAP Auto Detailing and was a huge supporter of all local car shows, and the car community,” Abby Coppola wrote in a news release announcing the event. “As a girl dad, he was often accompanied by his two beautiful daughters Carina and Mia, who loved cars as well! He was the definition of family man. And a loving husband to his wife, Amanda.”

Coppola said the event, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., will include “words shared” about Palumbo, and a car parade down Business Park Drive.

The business is located at 11 Business Park Drive.

Coppola said the business will be “accepting donations for Amanda and her daughters,” selling coffee, bagels and donuts from Willoughby’s Coffee & Tea, and “selling our Coppola Customs company merchandise with 100 percent of proceeds being donated to Amanda.”

The event will also feature a food truck.
