Cars shot at, broken into in Rafferty’s parking lot on Germantown Parkway – Action News 5


MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Cars were shot at and broken into in the Rafferty’s parking on Germantown Parkway Monday night.

Officers responded to the shooting at 8:00 p.m. at the Rafferty’s on 505 North Germantown Parkway.

A victim inside the restaurant told police he heard shooting and that cars were being broken into in the parking lot.

When he walked outside, he saw a man in a white shirt who was shooting in the parking lot and ran across to get into a black Mercedes SUV and drove away.

The victim said his black 2021 Dodge Charger’s rear passenger window was busted out and multiple shots were fired at his rear window, according to police.

Police say his tan Savage 62AR pistol was stolen from his vehicle.

A second victim’s silver Acura MDX was shot in the driver-side rear.

Police say a third victim’s 2021 black Infiniti QX5 was shot in the passenger side rear window.

No injuries were reported.
