Caviar has unveiled a special edition of the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate with a solid 18k gold body. The company created this phone for one very wealthy client in the US.
If you’re not already familiar with Caviar, it’s a luxury customization company known for creating exclusive and often extravagant versions of popular tech devices, especially smartphones.
Huawei Mate XT Ultimate gets a solid gold body
The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate has got a gold makeover with an 18K gold body. Caviar says this 18k gold phone is a one-piece limited edition for the extra-rich client from the US, so it’s unavailable on its website. This special edition phone weighs 1 kg and costs over $100,000.
Notably, Caviar also has a 24k gold-plated version of the Mate XT Ultimate, which costs around $17,340. For this one, Caviar is producing only 88 units, which is a lucky number in Chinese culture.
For most people, the price might seem unimaginable, but Caviar’s phones are more than just devices – they are symbols of luxury, wealth, and personal style. Some even buy such devices as investments, hoping their rarity and craftsmanship will make them more valuable over time.
