Cedar Rapids offers alternative transportation options through Micromobility program – KGAN

A program providing scooters and bikes to reduce parking, traffic, and emissions launches for a sixth season on Monday.

Cedar Rapids’ Micromobility Program, operated by Veo, gives the community an alternative way to get around the city.

Riders who are 18 years or older can use the Veo app to find and use scooters or bikes.

More than 6,500 trips were taken last year using the Micromobility program.

This year, all riders can receive $5 in free credit using the promo code SPRING25 through April 30.
