CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The Charleston Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating a deadly auto-pedestrian accident from Thursday night.
Officers determined the accident happened around 11:30 p.m. on Seven Farms Drive near Pier View Street.
They say a pedestrian entered the roadway on the 200 block of Seven Farms Drive and was struck by a vehicle.
That pedestrian was transported to the hospital where they later died from their injuries.
The driver remained on scene, but no charges have been filed at this time.
The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has not yet released their identity and the Charleston Police Department is still investigating.
