The Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s global variant has been announced today, and so has the phone’s Photography Kit. As expected, Xiaomi announced it right alongside the phone as part of MWC 2025 in Barcelona.
Xiaomi announced a Photography Kit for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra
The full name of this accessory is the Xiaomi 15 Ultra Photography Kit Legend Edition. You can see it below, both on the phone and what it consists of. The retail box is also shown below.
Xiaomi says that this accessory is “crafted for true photography enthusiasts.” As you can see, there’s a nice grip on the right side, along with a proper camera shutter at the top. There are also some additional buttons here for zooming, etc.
You still get access to the power/lock key and volume up and down buttons when this accessory is placed on the phone. Vegan leather is used here, so the Photography Kit offers plenty of grip.
Here’s what comes in the box
The grip itself is black with plenty of red accents, at least the one that Xiaomi shared during the launch. The Photography Kit includes a protective case, a 2,000mAh camera grip, a 67mm filter adapter ring, a decoration ring, a detachable thumb support, a detachable shutter button, and a hand strap. That’s what you can see in the second image above.
We’re still not sure what the price tag of this accessory, though. It was announced alongside the global Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra models, so it will be available in at least some markets.
The Xiaomi 15 is inferior to its ‘Ultra’ sibling, while it’s also smaller than that phone. It is still plenty powerful, though.
