Earlier this month, 91mobiles shared the alleged OnePlus 13R specs, but it’s possible they were wrong. A different set of OnePlus 13R specifications has just surfaced in China.
A different set of OnePlus 13R specifications has just surfaced
Some things do remain unchanged, but this source lists different cameras, battery, and several other details. First and foremost, do note that the OnePlus 13R will be known as the OnePlus Ace 5 in China. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is also coming to China.
At first, we thought that 91mobiles shared the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro specs, but that doesn’t fit either. In any case, one of these two reports is wrong. So, let’s see what the Weibo source is saying.
Based on this information, a 6.78-inch 1.5K display from BOE will be included. That is an LTPO display, and it will offer an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will fuel the device.
OnePlus will also include LPDDR5X RAM here and UFS 4.0 flash storage. So the company will not cut corners in that regard. Android 15 will come pre-installed with OxygenOS globally, and ColorOS in China.
It could have a different camera setup than initially leaked and a larger battery
A 50-megapixel main camera will be joined by an 8-megapixel snapper and a 2-megapixel snapper, it seems. A 6,500mAh battery is also mentioned in this leak, along with 80W wired charging.
The source also mentions that the frame will be made out of metal, which will almost certainly be aluminum. An alert slider will be placed on the device, as will an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
We still do not know when will the OnePlus Ace 5 launch, and the same goes for the OnePlus 13R. The former will arrive sooner, though. As long as it does, well know almost all the details about the OnePlus 13R, except its price tag. Do note that real-life images of the phone are also available.
