The case looks sleek and compact. Far better than having the bare board hanging around.

Thank you fspeed100 for your DIY post and the step by step guide for the Android auto wireless setup.
Took the plunge for my Hycross and brought the following from Silverline Electronics. Total amount was Rs 2,240/- inclusive of GST.
Bill of material:
- Raspberry pi 0W
- Heat sink (3 pcs)
- Case (1+3 pcs)
- SD card 24 GB
My colleague from IT, helped me with the installation of the file on the SD card and I followed the procedure to connect the board to the car multimedia unit. The connection was immediate and without any errors.
Assembly and installation:
Fixed one heat sink but the other 2 were too big to be fixed anywhere. So left it as it is for now. Checked during the long drive and did not notice any abnormal heating of the board.
The case looks sleek and compact. Far better than having the bare board hanging around.
Used an old Type A->USB cable one for now. Will replace this later with a shorter length cable
Usage feedback:
Using this setup for 2 months now for calls, google map and music. No issues of disconnection during driving. Although there is a delay of about 10 seconds for the initial connection after the car is started, it works flawlessly after that.
Downside of this setup:
- The mobile is now available for the child to play games
- Need to use a cable for charging the phone during long drives
