Drone finds drunk driver who crashed into two cars, police say – 14 News WFIE Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – An Evansville man is accused of drunkenly crashing into two vehicles and then running from the scene.

Police say it happened just before 3 a.m. Saturday at Columbia and Heidelbach.

They say 39-year-old Cory Littlepage was in the wrong lane of travel when he hit a truck and then a van with two people inside.

They were not hurt.

Police say they knew it was Littlepage because of the license plate on his car.

Police say they used a drone to catch Littlepage hiding several blocks away.

Officers say he told them, “I’m f***ed up.”

Littlepage was taken to the hospital, where police say he yelled and cussed in front of several other patients, including a child.

They say he was unable to stand on his own and made several threatening statements to officers.

His charges include intimidation, disorderly conduct, leaving the scene of a crash, resisting law enforcement, and driving while intoxicated.
