About the Samsung Galaxy S25
The Galaxy S25 is what many might call the “Vanilla” version of Samsung’s new flagship, but that doesn’t make it a poor choice for a new phone. Instead, the Galaxy S25 is likely going to be one of the best “small” phones of 2025. As usual, Samsung has packed this phone with the latest and greatest specs and features. This includes the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The display is still 6.2 inches, and the battery has also stuck to the same size, at 4,000mAh.
Of course the big thing for the Galaxy S25 is always, Galaxy AI. This year, Samsung is adding a few new features like the Now Briefing and Now Bar. Which will give you a short briefing about what’s going on. Including the weather, news, and what’s on your calendar, among other things. The Now Bar does the same thing, but now puts it on your lock screen. Think of the iPhone’s Live Activities, now on Samsung.

Onto the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which represents the very best features, specs, and software that Samsung has to offer today. That includes a 6.9-inch flat display this time around. Samsung has said this is due to the S Pen making it easier to use. It also has the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
Much like the Galaxy S25, the Ultra also has a slew of AI features. On top of the ones I mentioned already, the Galaxy S25 Ultra also gets some camera features. There is Audio Eraser and more additions to Generative Edit. On top of that, it has also gotten a new ultrawide sensor, now 50 megapixels versus the 12-megapixel sensor on the Galaxy S24 Ultra last year.
