Last year, Fitbit launched the Ace LTE smartwatch and activity tracker dedicated to kids. While the smartwatch is great and all for fitness tracking, it has a few cool games under the Arcade Collection that kids love playing. If your kids have the Ace LTE, tell them that their beloved Fitbit wearable is now getting two new games.
The Fitbit Ace LTE smartwatch is getting two new games to keep your kids active and engaged
On January 28th, Fitbit announced that it will be adding two new games to the Ace LTE smartwatch. The games, namely Shutterbug and Gnome Heisters, keep your kids “active and engaged” while playing them. As mentioned earlier, Fitbit is making these games available on the Ace LTE via its Arcade Collection. If you are wondering what’s interesting about these games, keep reading.
The first game, Shutterbug, requires kids using the Fitbit Ace LTE to turn photographers for the hero of the game, which is a bug. In the community post, Fitbit further notes, “Kids can test their point-and-shoot photography skills as they’re tasked to take the perfect shot of bugs hiding in different locations.” Considering the banner from the community post, kids may have to find and grab the perfect shot of at least three bugs to unlock the next level.
The second game is Gnome Heisters, where Gnomes appear to be the main character. Fitbit mentions that the Ace LTE users playing this game should help Gnomes “complete escapades in order to pull off the greatest garden heist gnome to humankind.
The above games are coming with a new software update
These two games are coming to your kids’ Fitbit Ace LTE with the latest software, Season 3. For the uninitiated, “Season” is Fitbit’s playful way of referring to software updates for the Ace LTE. So, you should keep checking if the update pops up on your child’s smartwatch. Once available, download and install it and let your kids have all the fun. Fitbit says that the latest software update should start rolling out this week.
In case you’re unaware, the Fitbit Wear OS app recently got an update on all Pixel Watch models. In fact, a few past reports hint that the Fitbit app might be pre-installed on the upcoming Android smartphones.
