Expect overnight delays on Route 360 in the Tappahannock area starting Sunday, Oct. 20 through early Thursday, Oct. 24
FREDERICKSBURG – Travelers on Route 360 can expect overnight delays near the Downing Bridge between the Town of Tappahannock and Richmond County for paving near both approaches.
Starting Sunday, Oct. 20 through early Thursday, Oct. 24, Route 360 near the span over the Rappahannock River will be reduced to one lane between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. each evening until work is complete.
Automated flagging devices may be used to direct one-way, alternating traffic through the work zone.
Message boards will be posted at both bridge approaches to alert motorists to the work zone.
Weather permitting, work on the Downing Bridge is anticipated to be complete by the end of next week.
