Apple TV Plus and Major League Baseball are bringing Friday Night Baseball to the streamer for its fourth season, with programming that will air for 25 weeks in over 60 countries. The 2025 MLB season kicks off Friday, March 28, and will feature weekly doubleheaders. Watch the Baltimore Orioles face division rivals the Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Mets take on the Houston Astros in the second game.
Other noteworthy season matchups include a Yankees-Dodgers World Series rematch and a Texas showdown between the Rangers and Astros.
The streamer will continue its baseball coverage with the MLB Big Inning whip-around show, broadcasting on opening day, March 27, with look-ins and game highlights. Apple’s full slate of baseball-related programming includes shows like Countdown to First Pitch, MLB Daily Recap and MLB This Week.
Apple is bringing multiple baseball-themed original programming to expand its Friday Night Baseball experience. First, the company announced VIP: Yankee Stadium, a new Apple Immersive Video experience for Apple Vision Pro that grants viewers inside access to the iconic sports venue and will be free to view in April. You can also watch its new docuseries, Fight For Glory: 2024 World Series, about the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees.
Friday Night Baseball games are exclusive to Apple TV Plus subscribers (which costs $10 monthly, after a seven day free trial) and can be viewed on the Apple TV app and online at tv.apple.com. Android users can now download the Apple TV app from Google Play on Android mobile devices to subscribe to Apple TV Plus.
