The RedMagic 10 Pro series has just made it to global markets. The RedMagic 10 Pro+, the most powerful model, was re-launched to global markets as the RedMagic 10 Pro. With that being said, Zack from JerryRigEverything managed to get his hands on the RedMagic 10 Pro, and we all know what that means, a series of durability tests for the device.

Let’s kick things off with the display scratch test, as that’s what usually comes first for Zack. The scratches were visible after the use of a level 6 pick, and deeper grooves were showing after the level 7 pick was used. That’s basically what’s expected when it comes to modern display protection.
The frame on this phone is made out of aluminum, as are the buttons on the device. The same goes for the fan covers on the device, and the front side of the SIM card tray.
The cameras on the back of this gaming phone are covered by the back glass, they’re not sticking out at all. The LED flash on the back does protrude a little bit, however. The pixels on the display have burned in after a 15-second exposure to lighter flame, and have never recovered. This test is not really all that useful, but it’s fun, if nothing else.
Scratches did not mess with the fingerprint scanner, and the bend test was not a problem for the phone
There is an optical in-display fingerprint scanner included here. Scratching the glass above it with a level 7 pick did not really mess around with the fingerprint scanner’s functionality, though. It continued working normally.
What’s left is most people’s favorite test, the bend test. The RedMagic 10 Pro did not budge at all during this test. Zack applied pressure from both the front and the back, and that did nothing. The phone did not bend at all, nor did it make a sound. RedMagic seemingly did a great job here.
