Many reports have suggested that Samsung will introduce three new Galaxy A series devices, including the Galaxy A26, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A56 in the first week of March. The new devices will first launch in emerging markets like India before making their way into other countries like the US. Ahead of the launch, we’ve already given you an exclusively early look at the accessories for the Galaxy A26, A36, and A56 in over 100 images. Now, the folks over at YTECHB have revealed details regarding the price of the Galaxy A26 and Galaxy A36.
The Galaxy A26 and A36 will have the same price tags as their predecessors
The source claims to have spotted some product listings of the Galaxy A26 and Galaxy A36, and has shared their purported price tags. According to the report, the Galaxy A26’s 128GB storage variant will cost $299, the same as last year’s Galaxy A25. Samsung could price the Galaxy A36’s model with the same internal storage capacity at $399, just like it priced its predecessor, the Galaxy A35.
Samsung will offer the Galaxy A26 and Galaxy A36 in other storage variants as well. However, the source didn’t provide any details regarding their prices. We can expect the other memory variants of these phones to cost similarly to their predecessors, however.
The Galaxy A26 and A36’s leaked specs
Samsung recently teased the upcoming Galaxy A series devices. In a recent video teaser, the brand promised six major Android OS upgrades for its next-gen Galaxy A series devices. The company could launch the new A series phones with Android 15 and One UI 7.0 out of the box. Samsung also confirmed that these phones will feature a triple primary camera module at the rear, resembling the layout seen in the leaked renders so far.
As per the recent leaks, the Galaxy A26 will utilize the brand’s in-house Exynos 1380 processor. As for the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56, Samsung could power them with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC and an Exynos 1580 processor, respectively. All three phones could flaunt a 50MP primary camera at the rear. The Galaxy A56 will have a 12MP secondary and a 5MP third lens.
The Galaxy A36 will feature two additional sensors, including an 8MP lens and a 5MP sensor. As for the Galaxy A26, Samsung could offer it with an 8MP secondary shooter and a 2MP third lens. All the leaks so far indicate that the Galaxy A26, A36, and A56 will be pocket-friendly budget and mid-range smartphones.
