CES 2025 is picking up the pace, with companies showing some of their best products. The Berlin-based German Bionic is one of the companies at CES, which has unveiled its new robotic exoskeleton, the Apogee ULTRA.
The Apogee ULTRA unveiled at CES, is a robotic exoskeleton and workers’ best friend
German Bionic claims that the Apogee ULTRA is the “world’s most powerful” since it offers lifting support of up to 80 pounds (~36 kg). The latest robotic exoskeleton aims to make physically demanding tasks effortless.
The company claims that a 70 pounds (~32 kg) lift with the Apogee ULTRA feels more like 9 pounds (~4 kg) to 11 pounds (~5 kg). On paper, it appears as a blessing for your lower back.
Interestingly, it also offers walking support. In the real world, a ten-mile (~16 km) walk with this exoskeleton feels more like eight (~13 km). German Bionic says that the Apogee ULTRA aims to help workers across different industries, including baggage handling, logistics, and more.
This robotic exoskeleton has shown great results by lowering injury rates wherever it was used. The makers claim that companies using the Apogee ULTRA have seen a 31% reduction in employees’ sick leave. Not to mention, this product also uses AI to adapt well to the user’s needs.
The price could be eye-watering
You’ll also get all the performance metrics in one place with the German Bionic Connect app. The app records all the steps, the amount of weight lifted, and the Apogee ULTRA’s usage time. If you want to get your hands on this product, you can visit German Bionic’s official website.
Not to mention, the company hasn’t shared the price of the Apogee ULTRA just yet. But, looking at the $9,995 price tag of the existing exoskeleton, we can assume that it won’t come cheap.
