If you’re looking for a new Android tablet, you may be put off by the high prices of Samsung’s flagship Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra.
Fortunately, there are plenty of great budget tablets, with the Galaxy Tab A9+ one of the very best. It retains many core features from Samsung’s premium tablets, yet reduces the starting price to £239/$219.99.
However, you can do much better than that for Black Friday. In the UK, Amazon has dropped the price of the 64GB model to just £154 – that’s a 36% saving.
If you need more storage, the 128GB version is £204 instead of £289 with a 29% discount.
The deals are just as good in the US. The 64GB model is currently available for $149, or 26% off.
Meanwhile, the 128GB version will currently cost you $199 instead of $269.99, which is also 26% off.
However, as much as we liked the device in our full Galaxy Tab A9+ review, you might be wondering: why is it behind the regular Galaxy Tab A9 in our best budget tablets guide.

Basically, that comes down to availability and regular pricing. The regular Tab A9 isn’t available in the US, but the A9+ is a worthy alternative. The extra you have to pay in the UK and other markets usually isn’t worth it for most people, though these hefty discounts make it a much better option.
Unless you need top-tier performance from a tablet, the Galaxy Tab A9+ will do everything you need it to and more. In our 8/10 review, we praised its everyday performance, design, audio and user-friendly software, especially with security updates continuing until October 2027.
However, you don’t have long to secure it at this price. All of these deals are part of Amazon’s Black Friday sale, which is due to end after Cyber Monday on 2 December. Stock may sell out before then, so if you’re interested, we’d encourage you to take advantage while you still can.
If you’re in the UK and prefer the look of the regular Galaxy Tab A9, it’s currently just £105 for Black Friday.
