The Vivo X200 series smartphones have been announced in China last month. The Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro are the phones in question. Vivo teased the global launch for the Vivo X200 series devices recently, and now the launch date surfaced too… again.
A tipster suggested that the launch date will take place on November 22. That same tipster changed its mind soon after, but this time around he actually shared what seems to be a visual confirmation.
The Vivo X200 series global launch date(s) has surfaced yet again
If you check out the image below, you’ll see what seems to be a confirmation of a launch date presuming it’s real. It says that the event will kick off on November 19 at 3 PM. Do note that press info is allegedly aimed at Malaysia, so this is for a Malaysia launch.
The tipster, Paras Guglani, also said that the phones will have a different launch timeframe in Thailand. They will launch there on November 28. By the looks of this, Vivo may not host a global press conference for the launch of these devices.
The Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro managed to attract a lot of attention when they launched. Vivo seems to have created very capable camera-centric flagships yet again.
The VIvo X100 Ultra is still regarded as one of the best, if not the best camera smartphone around. That’s one of the reasons why people were waiting for these two phones. The Vivo X200 Ultra is also expected, but not until next year at some point.
The color options and key specs for the two devices have also surfaced
Both of these smartphones are fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor. In addition to their alleged launch date, their global press renders also surfaced, along with some key specs. You can see the renders below.
The Vivo X200 is shown in Aurora Green and Midnight Black colors. The Vivo X200 Pro is posing in a Titanium Gray color only, but a Midnight Black will also be available. These will be the only global colors available it seems, well, at least in Malaysia.
If you check out the two images below, you’ll be able to see some of the key specs for both phones. There are no surprises here, as we’ve already seen these specs when they were initially announced.
