The Google Pixel Cap is among the latest wearable “merch drops” from the search giant. The company is also selling glow-in-the-dark T-shirts, and an official Google Mug.
Google introduces the Pixel Cap and other branded merchandise
Google has traditionally been a search, software, and hardware company. The search giant launched its latest Pixel 9 series, which starts with the entry-level Pixel 9 and goes all the way up to the Pixel 9 Pro. The company even has the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, but all of these are devices.
Google is now reportedly selling Pixel-branded wearable merchandise. Perhaps to promote the Pixel brand and allow Pixel owners to flaunt their preferences, Google is selling the “Pixel Cap”.
The all-black Google Pixel Cap has the Pixel brand in a slightly different shade of black, which is quite subtle. There’s, however, the iconic four-color ‘G’ logo on a white square background on the left. This breaks the monotony of the black color.
Interestingly, Google has added the Chrome Dino on the inside of the Pixel Cap. And finally, there’s the “It’s a Google thing” on the back. Google is asking $25 for the Pixel Cap.
Google is also selling glow-in-the-dark Chrome Dino T-shirts and other wearable merch
Besides the Pixel Cap, Google has also added two black t-shirts to its online merch store. One of the T-shirts has the Google logo. The other T-shirt features a glow-in-the-dark Chrome Dino.
Unlike the Pixel Cap, which is one-size-fits-all, the T-shirts are available in a range of adult sizes. Google is charging $30 per T-shirt, irrespective of the size and the artwork.
The most affordable piece of merchandise on the Google store could be the Google Mug. It has a white exterior and a yellow interior. Google charges $15 for the mug but the listing does not mention the size of the product.
It is interesting to note that Google has introduced a new line of Pixel-branded merch. Traditionally, the company sold Android, YouTube, Maps, and Google Cloud merch.
