While Android 16 is expected to be rolled out faster than its previous versions, the recently released Android 15 is starting to receive updates at a rapid pace.
The newest February 2025 update includes improvements across multiple areas and is now available for all eligible Google Pixel phones.
Users can now manage a family group more effortlessly in account management, thanks to the addition of a new entry point for Family Link within the Google app settings.
Developers will also benefit from enhancements to their services, which now offer new features that improve support for Machine Learning and AI-related processes.
Elsewhere, connectivity across various devices, including Auto, Phone, TV, and Wear, has been improved through bug fixes that enhance overall device connectivity.

Quick Share transfers are now more reliable, as they can continue even if the sender or receiver temporarily loses connection. Additionally, utilities have been upgraded with new developer features designed to support utilities-related processes.
Meanwhile, the evaluation system for apps running on tablets and Chrome OS devices has been refined for better performance. The Google Play Store has also received UI enhancements when creating a new Play Games profile.
Finally, Google Maps now benefits from biweekly bug fixes and enhancements, making it easier for users to discover and navigate new locations.

While this update is not a major overhaul, it remains essential to keep your device up to date with the latest patches and fixes.
Thankfully, these updates are often installed in the background, so you likely won’t need to take any action for the upgrade to process, except restarting your phone to complete it.
However, if that doesn’t happen anytime soon, or you prefer to check for updates manually, head into Settings > System > Software updates to check if it’s available for your device yet.
