There are so many streaming platforms out there that it is hard to keep track of them. Samsung Galaxy Users Can Get Three Months Of Peacock By Downloading It From The Galaxy Store
As much as I love Samsung, there are so many of the company’s first-party software offerings that I barely look at. One of those is the Galaxy Store, seeing as the Google Play Store is superior in pretty much every single way, shape, and form. I only really use the Galaxy Store to update some of Samsung’s first-party apps. Besides that, I’ve almost never chosen to download an app from there.
It seems that Samsung knows that it is the second option for most Galaxy owners when it comes to getting new Android apps. While it might never be able to change that, it seems it wants to push the Galaxy Store up as much as it can, as it is going to start doing that with strategic partnerships. A deal with the streaming service, Peacock, is one of them.
If you have access to the Galaxy Store—which means that you have a Samsung device—and you’re a new Peacock subscriber, you’re eligible. Just download Peacock from the Galaxy Store and sign up, and the option will appear, giving you three months of Peacock Premium for nothing. Considering that it would normally cost you $24 for that same period, I’d have to say it’s worth giving a shot. The deal is open until June 4th, 2025.
What Does Peacock Have To Offer?
This Galaxy Store deal is free, so there’s little reason not to give it a shot. However, I can understand if you want to know what Peacock has to offer you in terms of content before you bother signing up.
Well, one hit TV show at the moment, The Day of the Jackal is a Peacock Original. If you haven’t seen it, this will make for a good opportunity to. You can watch a lot of recent blockbusters, like Twisters, Despicable Me 4, and Conclave. You also get access to live sports like WWE, NFL, and the English Premier League.
This Isn’t The Only Streaming Service Samsung Is Collaborating With
Samsung is definitely planning to make its deals with digital services a regular thing, as Peacock isn’t the only service it is partnering with. It has worked with Netflix to give Samsung users an exclusive look at the second season of the hit show Squid Game, up until December 26th when the season will debut. The OEM has also indicated that it plans to work with Spotify as well.
