Best Buy has an amazing price on the M2 MacBook Air right now, which you can grab for as little as $749. Sure this is nearly a two-generation old MacBook Air, as the M4 is set to launch in the next couple of months, but the difference between M2 and M4 is pretty minimal. Not to mention the M2 is still a really impressive chipset.
This M2 model comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, so this is the entry-level model. And one thing that this has over that M1 MacBook Air on sale at Walmart for only $50 less, is the new design. It’s no longer a wedge-shaped MacBook Air, but does have the new colors like Midnight and Gold. It also has a slightly larger display at 13.6-inches, however it does add that notch unfortunately.
It’s a gorgeous laptop that does also perform quite well. With 8GB of RAM, that might sound like not a lot, however keep in mind that macOS is a lot more lightweight than say Windows 11. Macs also use Swap, so that 8GB is actually a lot more than it sounds like.
Finally, the MacBook Air does come in Midnight, Silver, Space Gray, and Starlight.
