The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was teased at the end of Samsung Unpacked in January. The phone’s major selling point is that it will be very thin (by modern standards), but there’s really nothing else to make it special. But hey, Samsung rarely breaks away from doing things the way it is used to, so I’m not going to complain too much.
To give an idea of whether you should consider the Galaxy S25 Edge when it eventually launches, Android Headlines has delivered an exclusive leak revealing the colorways, storage variants, and European pricing of the upcoming smartphone. The latter will be the most significant determinant of whether you’ll be lining up or not, and it’s likely “not.”
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Will Be Available in Three Colorways
I’m not the most excited about the impending launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge, but for those who are more into phones as a fashion piece, it could be a very potent purchase. Considering that the device is expected to measure at just 5.84mm, it will definitely set itself apart the moment that you look at it.
But think about it. The design is going to be a major part of the appeal of this phone, so it will need to have color options that are equally as appealing. If you want more vibrant colors, that’s not what you’re going to get with this phone. Samsung will stick with the sexy but more muted options of Titanium Icyblue, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Jetblack.
It isn’t certain whether the phone will actually come with titanium as a build material, as earlier leaks suggest aluminum and potentially ceramic as the materials of note.
The Galaxy S25 Edge Will Have the Same Storage Variants as the S25 Plus
The Galaxy S25 Edge is not rearing to do anything different from the models that are already available when it comes to performance. We already know that Samsung doesn’t plan to break away from the Snapdragon 8 Elite, but now we know that it will come bundled with 12GB of RAM. Storage variants will be 256GB and 512GB, which means that the phone will have the same storage choices as the S25+.
The S25 Edge Is Going to Be a Very Expensive Smartphone
Now, the most important thing for most buyers is how much the phone will cost. Understandably, a sensible price tag could change the opinion of a lot of people who are on the fence when it comes to the device.
We have a good idea of the European pricing for the smartphone, and true to earlier rumors, the phone will sit between the Plus and Ultra models of the S25 family. The 256GB variant of the phone is going to cost somewhere between €1,200 and €1,300, while the 512GB will up that range by €100, costing anywhere between €1,300 and €1,400.
Of course, that’s solely European pricing, and costs in the UK and in the US will likely be different. However, the phone is expensive, no matter what angle you want to look at things from. Have you been considering the S25 Edge, and if so, does the pricing change your stance? Let us know in the comments.
