Honor is said to be working on its own compact flagship phone – could the Honor Magic 7 Mini be imminent?
For whatever reason, smaller flagship phones are all the rage right now. Or at least, skinnier flagship phones are.
Here’s another said to be in the pipeline, and it should fit the ‘mini’ description whichever way you look at it.
What’s small, well specced, and Honor-branded?
Established tipster Digital Chat Station has posted some brief initial details of a new Honor phone to Weibo (via GSMArena).
Like the Xiaomi 15 and the Pixel 9 Pro, it’ll combine a 6.3-inch 1.5K screen with flagship specs.
That’s not necessarily reason to label the phone a ‘Mini’ – even the Samsung Galaxy S25 with its 6.1-inch screen is smaller – but it’ll also be “ultra-thin” (via machine translation). That makes it sound more like the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and iPhone 17 Air.
The tipster claims that this unnamed phone is being “polished” as we speak, which suggests it’s all but complete.

Why the Honor Magic 7 Mini?
Given that this mysterious new super-skinny phone is said to be a flagship handset, it’ll almost certainly bear Honor’s premium Magic branding.
With the Honor Magic 7 Pro (pictured above) fresh to market, it’s probably a safe bet that any addition to the roster coming over the next few months will bear the Honor Magic 7 moniker, followed by something else.
Considering this new phone will have both a small (by modern standards) footprint and an ultra-thing frame, it’s going to be considered downright miniature. Of course, there’s always the chance it’ll follow Apple’s lead and be called the Honor Magic 7 Air, or even Samsung’s with the Honor Magic 7 Edge.
That’s it for leaked specifications, but the only question we really want answering is whether this Honor Magic 7 Mini will be stepping its tiny foot outside of China.
