Huawei is reportedly getting ready to show us some innovative products in 2025. The company said these products will be “beyond imagination” and completely different from anything we’ve seen before. Some of these could be foldable tablets, phones, and other tech we can’t even think of yet.
Huawei promises “Beyond Imagination” products in 2025
Richard Yu, the Chairman of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group, shared a short video on his Weibo account. Huawei Central explained the video in English, so it’s much easier for us to understand what he said.
In the video, Yu talked about the upcoming Huawei Consumer Annual Meeting happening in Shenzhen from December 28th to December 30th, 2024. He also mentioned Huawei has made a lot of progress this year. After going through tough times over the past five years, Huawei is now back in action. He said 2024 is the first year for Huawei, as it marks the company’s return to the market.
Despite the challenges, Huawei has been growing and wants to share even more innovative products in the future. Yu said, “There will be products that no one can imagine next year, and there will be products that no one dares to imagine in the future, so stay tuned.”
Yu hinted that the company is working on “beyond imagination” products for next year, which could include the flagship Pura 80 series or a new tri-fold handset.
Huawei might launch a foldable tablet in 2025
One of the “beyond imagination” products Huawei might launch in 2025 is a foldable tablet. This could be a device that combines a folding screen and a tablet. Some even say Huawei might create a foldable tablet that can also turn into a PC when you need it. The device could come with the rumored “HarmonyOS for PC” pre-installed.
According to a tipster on Weibo, the price for this foldable tablet could be around 10,000 yuan (~$1,370), but the price may vary depending on the features. Huawei hasn’t shared all the details yet, but fans are excited to see what’s coming.
Huawei has already impressed many this year with its tri-fold phone, the Mate XT. It will likely be available globally in Q1 2025.
