Huawei’s HarmonyOS PCs have been rumored for a long time, and they seem to be coming. The company’s Chairman, Richard Yu, said that HarmonyOS PCs will “bring greater value” and will offer usage experience “beyond imagination”.

Many of you are probably wondering what’s happening with Huawei’s Windows OS offerings. Well, based on what was reported several times, Huawei’s HarmonyOS PCs will be able to run Windows apps too. It will be a dual app support solution.
Richard Yu did not confirm this part, just yet, so it’s only rumored for now. What was confirmed, however, is that the HarmonyOS PC will launch in May. We are expecting a new UI to be a part of the offering, one in line with the company’s mobile offerings.

That’s not all, though. Richard Yu also teased a new form factor for the company’s upcoming PCs. The company debuted a new form factor for a flip phone in the form of Huawei Pura X. That happened quite recently. The company is now aiming at PCs too.
A device that will offer a new form factor could have ‘Ultra’ as part of its name. That is, at least, what a recently leak suggested. The device is expected to launch in the second quarter of the year, so a May launch fits.
The Huawei Pura X is a really wide phone that Huawei announced. It has a 6.3-inch display when unfolded, and it’s… different than everything else we’ve seen. It launched in China only for now, we don’t know if it will arrive to global markets or not. Only time will tell.
