A TATTOO artist has decided to live full-time in his van after losing his house – but there’s a slight catch.
The vehicle is nothing more than a skeleton, with none of the usual campervan fittings such as a kitchen or toilet.

Despite the hinderance, the keen creative said he was excited for the challenge, even though he was a total novice when it comes to conversions.
After deciding to sell his old Nissan Elgrand Rider to buy a larger van, he got to work transforming his new camper into a full-time home.
Speaking in a YouTube video on his channel TheEAFOS, he said: “I’ve never even owned a drill before so I bought a jigsaw and a drill and multitool just to do all this.
“And I’ve basically become a carpenter so I can convert my own campervan.”
The cost of living in his home town made the decision a no brainer.
With the high price of renting a room, as well as a tattoo studio, it made more sense to ‘go full van life instead.’
To avoid what he described as a ‘crusty old horrible room’ he chose take the campervan plunge and live in his new mobile home.
With his place of work already rented out, which is where he keeps his pet fish and his computer, there was really no need to pay for another room.
He added: “I lost my home, which means that I would have had to go out and rent a new apartment or whatever.
“I don’t want to have to go and spend £800, £1000 renting a tiny little room in a house share, which I would hate more than being in a van anyway.”
By saving £800 a month on rent, the nifty nomad can now save up to £9.6k a year by moving into his modular home.
While the van isn’t yet complete, the artist still has a bed set up, a lamp, and a line of caps along the wall – making the room feel more homely.
The amateur carpenter previously posted videos of him with his old campervan driving to rural areas, showing biking clips and footage of him setting up camping gear.
He uses a Vango self-inflating camping air mattress from eBay, placing it over the folded down seats with a sleeping bag to make comfortable bed.
His older videos show his dedication to the campervan lifestyle – showing the he can probably take on this new challenge.
YouTube users were quick to support his previous campervan clips.
A comment read: “Nice one mate, just converted mine you made a brilliant job on it mate.”
One added: “Looking good Eafos.”
Another simply stated: “More videos mate.”
The YouTuber plans to release more videos detailing his experiences of ‘van life’ and hopes to produce more content and he moves forward with his conversion.
