PC gaming brand iBUYPOWER has come to CES 2025 this week to show off a range of new cases that it plans to release this year. While CES is just about wrapped up, there are still plenty of things to talk about. With regard to iBUYPOWER, the company is announcing several new PC cases that it says were designed with the enthusiast in mind. “iBUYPOWER’s ninth generation of PC cases are designed for enthusiasts to easily show their systems in style,” the company says.
While iBUYPOWER also makes fully custom-built gaming PCs, it sells the cases standalone as well for the discerning gamer who wants to put together their own rig. For 2025, the company is releasing four new cases. These include the Slate 9 Mesh ARGB, Element 9, Element 9 Pro, and Element 9 SE. Each case has a unique design and caters to gamers looking for a specific aesthetic and features.
For instance, the Element 9 Pro uses a hybrid glass/mesh top panel that makes it easier to see inside design details like RGB fans. It also allows users to fit in a 360mm AIO liquid cooler. Meanwhile, the Slate 9 Mesh is an improved version of the Slate 8 Mesh with expanded RGB lighting capabilities. It also comes with included 120mm RGB fans that are positioned behind the front panel. iBUYPOWER hasn’t announced pricing for these cases yet. However, it says systems with these cases will be available in 2025 in the configurator. They will also be used in the RDY prebuilt line, and certain retail partners will carry them as well.
iBUYPOWER sister brand Hyte brought new components to CES 2025
If you’re even slightly familiar with iBUYPOWER then you may already know that Hyte is its sister brand. In fact, some of iBUYPOWER’s ready-built PCs come in Hyte PC cases. Hyte has also brought some new stuff to CES 2025 this year and this includes what might be our favorite component, the Thicc Q80 Trio. An AIO cooler with a 5-inch HD display that shows things like temperature. The display can also swivel 180 degrees so you can find the right angle to match your aesthetic. Or just you can see it more easily based on how your PC is set up.
Hyte is also introducing a powered USB hub for expanding the amount of USB ports you have. With this little accessory, you can transform one USB 2.0 header into 4 USB 2.0 ports. The hub can even attach to surfaces with magnets or the included adhesive strips. Additionally, Hyte is announcing several color options for new Solid Processor Frames, as well as the Gen 5 Luxury Riser upgrade for your GPU. These also come in several colors, including red, black, white, blue, pink, and purple.
iBUYPOWER teams up with REDRAGON for pack-in gaming keyboards
One of the really cool things about buying an iBUYPOWER PC is the included gaming keyboard and mouse. There are other companies that do this, of course. So this isn’t something that is exclusive to iBUYPOWER. However, iBUYPOWER is now adding extra value to this part of buying one of its PCs. At CES the company announced a new partnership with REDRAGON. This partnership will see future ready-built gaming PCs come with REDRAGON keyboards in the box.
There will be two keyboards from REDRAGOn that are part of this partnership. The MK9 RGB and MK9 Pro RGB mechanical keyboards. The MK9 RGB will be a 96% (compact full size) keyboard layout and the Pro model will be similar, but with added hot-swappable linear switches. While iBUYPOWER wasn’t the only PC company to show off new systems at CES this year (MAINGEAR announced several new systems), it does tend to offer systems that don’t have as high of a price tag.
