Currently up for sale as part of a deceased estate with no reserve, the vintage Roller from 1979 remains in “remarkably good condition” – despite a heavy layer of dust which has gathered from being left abandoned in a garage.

The interior is especially well kept, finished in Walnut-over-cream leather that looks nowhere near 44 years old.

According to a listing on the Classic Car Auctions website, the old motor was once a cherished gift that was presented to the late vendor in 1997 upon their retirement.

It was then used as their beloved family car for many years, even touring to the French Riviera for summer holidays.

Due to health reasons, the car was parked up and dry-stored in the family garage in recent years, gathering dust, and will need to be thoroughly recommissioned and restored by the next owner.

Today, the Silver Wraith II is considered a rare find.

Essentially a long-wheelbase variant of the Silver Shadow II, some Silver Wraith II models were even fitted with an electrically retractable privacy glass divider – like the ones found in chauffeur-driven cars.

They also featured a smaller rear window, which gave rear seat passengers more privacy.

Princess Margaret, sister to Queen Elizabeth, personally ordered a Silver Shadow II in 1980, which she used from new until her death in 2002.

Classic Jaguar left inside barn for 40 YEARS found alongside Rolls-Royce

This garage-found model, which features a brown finish and an automatic gearbox, comes with just 53,953 miles on the clock and has a guide price of between £3,000 and £6,000.

The auction takes place on Saturday, September 28.

This comes as another classic Rolls-Royce was recently discovered sat alongside a Jaguar E-Type in a barn – having been tucked away for nearly four decades.

Elsewhere, a limited edition Rolls worth £2 million has been unveiled to the British public – but it’s impossible to purchase.
