Internet voting returns in Brighton – Quinte News

Residents of Brighton will again be able to vote from the comfort of their own homes in next year’s municipal election.

Monday council saw a staff report showing that in the 2022 election Brighton had a 46.7 percent voter turnout, the highest in Northumberland County.

The last election was the first time internet voting was used and the vast majority of residents surveyed enjoyed the convenience and ease of the online option.

Again next year the municipality will provide Voter Assistance Centres for those without access to the internet.
