The year 2024 is going to end with a big bang as December promises to be a busy month for the phone industry in India. You have brands like iQOO, Vivo and even Xiaomi in the mix, looking to get people excited with their new products. We have already seen Realme and Oppo bring their new flagship devices to the market in November, and now more brands are waiting in the wings.
Phone Launches In India For December 2024
iQOO 13
Expectations are quite high for the iQOO 13, the successor to the highly renowned iQOO 12, which is scheduled to launch in India on December 3. This flagship promises state-of-the-art performance, a high-end build, and features that compete with the best in the industry.
The iQOO 13, which has a stylish aluminium frame between sturdy glass panels, is water- and dust-resistant thanks to its IP68/IP69 rating. Its RGB LED illumination on the rear, which adds flair to its design, will appeal to gamers and tech fans. The phone will also be the latest to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in the country.
Redmi Note 14 Series
The Redmi Note 14 series will be released in India on December 9. The Redmi Note 14 Pro, Redmi Note 14 and the standard Redmi Note 14 will be among the devices in the range. A 6.67-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz is rumoured to be offered with all three of them.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro is likely to get the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, while the Redmi Note 14 and the Note 14 Pro+ could be seen with the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra and Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, respectively.
Vivo X200 Series
Yes, Vivo is also making a dive into the flagship pool in India this year itself. The X200 series is already available in China and soon buyers in India will get a taste of the X200 and the X200 Pro models. The company is set to launch the new flagship series with MediaTek Dimensity flagship chipset and powerful range Zeiss Optics cameras.
OnePlus 13
The OnePlus 13 is expected to launch in India by the end of December or early January 2025, following its launch in China. The OnePlus 13 is available in China with a 6.82-inch display (the same as the OnePlus 12) that has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 1,600 nits of brightness in normal mode and 4,500 nits at its brightest.
The OnePlus 13 has OxygenOS 15, which is based on Android 15, and is also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. With its larger 6,000mAh battery, the phone can now support both 50W wireless charging and a 100W wired charging.
